Here they are! The only land based colony of penguins in the world. These birds came to South Africa in about 1984 if I remember and just stayed. They do not leave and live on one particular beach left for them. They make quite an odd noise and are known as 'Jackass Penguins.' (Think donkey!)

Look at the water! It would be awesome to go dving there!!
I would have loved to have gone in..but being a protected beach you can't even step in it. Still if you owned a house a few blocks down you could have all the fun you wanted!
The only thing for swimming at least is that the water is below 5 degrees C at this point. That's why the Penguins LOVE it. But could you imagine diving with Penguins???
